TELANGANA JOBS – 40,000 JOBS NOTIFICATION SOON

UJJI NEWS (DEC. 03): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the government is preparing to release notifications for 40,000 new government jobs very soon. He reiterated that the “People’s Government” aims to fill one lakh jobs within the first two and a half years of its tenure.

As part of the “Prajā Pālana – Prajā Vijayotsavalu” celebrations, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones for several development works in Husnabad. Addressing a public meeting, he highlighted various welfare schemes implemented during the two years of the current government.

The Chief Minister assured that Husnabad would be developed in every aspect. He promised to complete the long-pending Gouravelli Reservoir works, which had been neglected for a decade. He also recalled the region’s importance, stating that under the leadership of Sardar Papanna Goud, the fight against feudal forces and the establishment of a Bahujan state was initiated from this area.

Revanth Reddy mentioned the historical support extended by the Karimnagar district during the second phase of the Telangana movement and the commitment of Sonia Gandhi towards the statehood promise. Recalling the sacrifice of Srikantha Chary, who laid down his life on December 3 for Telangana, the Chief Minister said that fulfilling his aspirations, the government had already filled 60,000 government posts within its first year.

He added that on the completion of two years of the people’s government, a clear roadmap has been prepared for the future development of Telangana.

The Chief Minister revealed that the government has spent ₹1.04 lakh crore on agriculture-related initiatives, including loan waivers for farmers and Rythu Bharosa. He further listed major welfare schemes such as free travel for women in RTC buses, free electricity up to 200 units, solar power support for women’s groups, issuance of new ration cards, distribution of fine rice, sanction of 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses, and filling of 60,000 jobs within the first year.

Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with public representatives from the erstwhile Karimnagar district, participated in the event.
