UJJI NEWS (DEC. 03) : Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was visited by his sister, Dr. Uzma Khan, on Tuesday at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. Speaking to the media after the meeting, she confirmed that Imran Khan is alive but alleged that he is being subjected to psychological pressure due to solitary confinement. However, she stated that he appeared to be physically healthy.

Amid rising reports suggesting a deterioration in Imran Khan’s health, the government granted permission for Dr. Uzma Khan to meet him. Although Imran Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023, visitors had been barred from meeting him for the past month due to an undeclared restriction. This fueled widespread speculation regarding his wellbeing.
As Imran Khan’s supporters prepared for a massive rally on Tuesday, the government imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi to prevent gatherings. Authorities announced a ban on public meetings and rallies until Wednesday, citing security concerns and the need to maintain law and order.
