UJJI NEWS (DEC. 03) : The Telangana government has issued orders granting notional service to Model School teachers working across the state.
Notional Service Granted for Model School Teachers
Although a single notification was issued for the recruitment process, appointments were conducted in two phases. As a result, teachers appointed in the second phase had experienced a loss of service seniority.
Following repeated appeals from employee union leaders, the government has now released orders ensuring seniority benefits for all such teachers.
The appointments were originally made in 2013 and 2014, despite being part of the same notification.
Teachers appointed in 2014 will now receive seniority and salary benefits on par with those appointed in 2013. Additionally, the seniority list will be prepared strictly based on merit.
